What You ll Do
  • Provide advanced practice care for patients in a hematology/oncology outpatient setting
  • Manage patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies
  • Coordinate care with hematologist/oncologists, infusion teams, nurse navigators, and support services
  • Conduct patient evaluations and ongoing clinical management in collaboration with the oncology team
  • Support continuity of care within a multidisciplinary clinic environment
  • Use Epic EMR to document and support coordinated, connected patient care
  • Work with infusion and clinic staff to support safe and effective oncology treatment experiences
What You Need
Required
  • MN state license (required)
  • Eligibility as one of the following:
    • Nurse Practitioner (NP), or
    • Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Board certification for PA or APP (as applicable)

Preferred
  • Experience working with oncology patients (solid tumors and/or hematologic malignancies)
  • Familiarity working in outpatient oncology workflows and multidisciplinary teams
About the Assignment
You ll join a community-based hematology/oncology practice in New Ulm, Minnesota with access to a larger integrated oncology network. The clinic supports multidisciplinary care through an onsite team and telehealth as needed, with strong nursing and operational support, and an emphasis on continuity of care. This position is outpatient-focused with inpatient collaboration available as needed.
