A Virginia Hospital is seeking Maternal Fetal Medicine Locum Tenens Coverage.
OPEN DATES:
Schedule: Mon-Fri clinic coverage 8a-4:15p, with nightly call on weekdays and 24hr weekend call
Location: Rotate between two different hospitals Practice Setting: Office & inpatient coverage Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: 27
Number of Physicians in Practice: 1 per site Will Other Fetal Maternal Medicine Physicians Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates: Yes, this is a 2 provider service. The clinic is also supported by a NP who rotates sites. How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 1
95% High Risk, 5% Low Risk Onsite Ultrasound: Yes Describe Office Equipment: GE 10 Describe Support Staff: RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, front office team Nursery Level: III Documentation System/EMR: EPIC, viewpoint
Required Procedures/Skill Sets:
Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Sampling, cerclage (preferred), Pre-Eclampsia, Multiple Pregnancy, Growth Restriction, Chromosomal Abnormalities, Congenital abnormalities, Pre-term Labor, Hypertension, Thrombophilia, Genetic Disorders, Birth Defects, Vaginal Birth, Cesarean Birth, any fetal or maternal co-morbidities that make the pregnancy high risk
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
