Cardiothoracic Surgery assignment in Altoona, PA with UPMC Altoona.
Schedule
• Part-time
• Usually 9-12 shifts/month
• Typically two long weekends/month
• Thursday 7:00 AM-Monday 7:00 AM
• Additional PTO / holiday stretches as needed
• 24-hour call
• 30-minute response time
Practice Details
• Adult cardiac surgery
• CABG
• AVR
• MVR
• Rounding
• Cases
• Clinic
• TAVR clinic / TAVR days
• Epic Bridges EMR
• 380-bed hospital
• Level III trauma designation
• Hotel-based call acceptable
• No need to remain in-house 24/7
Requirements
• Board Certified
• Pennsylvania License Required to Apply
• IMLC Accepted
• DEA Required
• ACLS Required
• BLS Required
• Minimum 2 years experience
Compensation
• $4,225 per 24-hour call
• 1.5x holiday rate
• Full travel paid
