• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 - $7,280 (competitive locum tenens pay)
• Location: Elko, NV 89801 (Elko healthcare, Nevada locum tenens)
• Assignment Dates: Multiple urgent dates available between June and July 2026
• Clinic Schedule: 3 to 4 days per week, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (patients seen starting at 8:00 AM)
• Patient Encounters: Approximately 20 per shift
• Department Beds: 16
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 45 days

• MD or DO degree; OB/GYN Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology (clinical OB/GYN experience)
• Active ABLS certification required
• Experience managing both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, including maternal-fetal care
• Proficiency performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds (sonography skills)
• Ability to perform routine and complicated deliveries: C-sections, breech, multiple births
• Skilled in repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Experience with operative/major gynecologic procedures (ectopic pregnancy management, oophorectomy, cystectomy, etc.)
• Willingness to complete pre-hire requirements, including background check and drug screening

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in clinic and hospital settings, including prenatal visits and inpatient care
• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies and deliveries; coordinate care with maternal-fetal specialists as needed
• Perform and interpret obstetric ultrasounds to inform clinical decision-making
• Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, including cesarean sections, breech deliveries, and multiple births
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations and manage obstetric emergencies
• Perform operative and major gynecologic procedures as required by the facility
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, anesthesia, neonatology) to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records and follow institutional policies for documentation and patient safety
