The Deaconess Cancer Center is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Hematologist-Oncologist with subspecialty interest or fellowship training in one or more of the following areas: lung/thoracic, head & neck, melanoma/sarcoma, neuro-oncology, or malignant hematology/cellular therapy.

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly collaborative, disease-site-focused oncology program with strong institutional support for subspecialization, program development, and clinical innovation.

  • Specialized tumor boards include GI, urologic, head and neck, cutaneous, gynecologic, thoracic, breast, neurologic and hematologic malignancies.
  • Advanced Infrastructure: Epic EMR with Beacon oncology module, Abridge AI documentation and ordering assistance.
  • Robust Support Team: Experienced APPs, oncology pharmacists, nurse navigators, dietitians, social workers, palliative care, and rehab specialists.

Clinical Practice

  • Flexible 4- or 5-day workweek
  • 1:8 call schedule
  • Opportunity to develop a focused subspecialty practice while maintaining optional general oncology exposure.
  • Strong referral base across a large regional footprint

Compensation & Benefits

  • $550,000 guaranteed base salary (Year 1) with average earnings over $1M
  • Productivity incentives + APP supervision compensation + Quality Bonus
  • $50,000 sign-on bonus plus training stipends available for current Fellows
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including:
