Job Description
- Full-time hospitalist physician position
- Open immediately upon state licensure and hospital credentialing
- Care for inpatients only, no outpatient responsibilities
- Cannot support J1 or H1 visas
- Rare ICU admissions; no invasive procedures, intubations, or ICU management
- No trauma care or tertiary care responsibilities
- Cover 2 hospitals. Assigned to one hospital per 7-day block; rotating between facilities for each block
- EPIC is the EMR at both sites
- Work schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; 12-hour day shift (7 am " 7 pm) or swing shift (1 pm " 10 pm)
- No required overnight shifts; option for additional shifts available if desired
- Collaborative and collegial team emphasizing patient satisfaction, teamwork, and efficiency
- Occasional NP, PA, and medical students rotations
- All specialty consultations, case managers, and support staff readily accessible
