Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $1.00 (as listed)
  • Compensation: $500,000 $550,000 annual base salary (salary may vary depending on experience and training)

What You ll Do
  • Provide executive-level leadership and operational oversight for the Hematology/Oncology division
  • Serve as Associate Medical Director for the cancer service line to guide systemwide cancer care strategy
  • Lead and oversee a large academic hematology/oncology physician team (40+ full-time physicians)
  • Direct clinical, academic, and research programs across hematology and oncology services
  • Oversee integration and expansion of oncology services across multiple hospitals and ambulatory locations in Southeast/Central Michigan
  • Provide leadership to the Bone Marrow Transplant Program, infusion programs, and systemwide oncology services
  • Maintain an active clinical practice (approximately 25%) while balancing division leadership and academic/research initiatives
What You Need
Required
  • Hematology/Oncology Fellowship completion
  • Experience required (not accepting board eligible/fresh graduates)
  • Demonstrated leadership in an academic or large health system setting
  • Experience overseeing faculty, clinical programs, and research/operational strategy

Preferred
  • Prior leadership titles such as (but not limited to): Vice Chair, Chief, Associate Division Head, Program Director, or Director (clinical program/service line/academic program)
