- Provide OB/GYN coverage during the on-call period at a clinic/hospital setting
- Manage labor and delivery care including decision-making for C-section when needed
- Provide care for routine and complicated deliveries as required
- Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (including viability/screening and targeted/anatomic as needed)
- Support FHR interpretation (including NST & FSE)
- Handle 3rd/4th degree laceration repair as required
- Participate in a 1:4 call rotation (weekday/weekend coverage model)
Notes from the assignment: average delivery volume is approximately one per day, with about 360 births/year; high-risk deliveries are typically referred to tertiary centers; nursery level I.
What You NeedRequired

- BLS and ACLS
- Ability to be within a 30-minute radius at all times while on call
- Experience/comfort managing the responsibilities listed above for OB/GYN coverage
