Schedule - Monday Friday
- 8:00 AM 5:00 PM clinic
- Rounding begins at 7:00 AM
- No weekends
- After-hours phone call coverage required
- Minimum: 1 call day per week (flexible up to provider preference)
Scheduling Flexibility:
- Ideal: 3 weeks per month or full-time coverage
- Will consider 1 2 weeks per month availability
Patient Volume Clinical Scope - Bread-and-butter Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Standard MFM consults and high-risk pregnancy management
- No delivery attendance required
- No labor & delivery management responsibilities
Procedures - Standard MFM outpatient and consult-based procedures
- Non-operative specialty care only
EMR Cerner
Licensure - Active California medical license required
- DEA required (new or transferable accepted)
Certifications - Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine required
- All active certifications required
Job Description Seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to provide long-term locum coverage across two California healthcare system locations. Provider will deliver high-risk obstetric consultative care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, starting at Valley Children s Health before transitioning into a long-term assignment at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
This is a high-commitment, long-term opportunity designed for a provider seeking stable, ongoing coverage within a collaborative, well-supported healthcare system.
Ideal Candidate - Experienced MFM physician (new grads will be considered)
- Comfortable with outpatient consultative high-risk OB care
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexible with multi-site onboarding and transition
- Willingness to commit to long-term coverage preferred
