Neurology Physician

A Northern Michigan Hospital System is seeking Board Certified Neurologists for Locum Tenens Coverage ASAP-ongoing through 2026. Seeking 1-2 weeks per month, including weekend call coverage.

Clinic regular hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Outpatient Clinic Hours during shift:
-Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 1:00 PM 3:00 PM (these appointments occur within the 8-hr onsite day).
-Call coverage after hours. 4:30pm-8am, and 24hr weekend call coverage
-EEG reads inpatient and outpatient as needed. When there are no outpatients scheduled or if not for the entire time, the candidate will be expected to still provide onsite hospital coverage
-6-8 patients per day
-EMR: Cerner

Procedures Required:

• Radiologic Exam Interpretation
• Lumbar Puncture (Spinal Tap)
• EEG
• Brain Death Examination
• Evoked Potentials

Compensation:
$240/hr- Per 8hrs onsite
$350/night call
$2000/24hr call - To include 4 hrs onsite
$325/hr for call back
Holiday compensation at 1.5x regular rates
