Job Description

  • Specialty: Anesthesiologist
  • Practice Setting: OR/Surgery Department
  • Dates/Coverage Needed: Beginning ASAC for 6 months with the option to extend. Looking for full-time, 4x10's between Monday-Friday with possible beeper call scheduled one weekend per month starting at 7 pm on Fridays until 7 am on Sundays.
  • Case Mix: Endo/GI > Orthopedics > General > OB (Labor/Delivery) > Ophthalmology > Cardiology > Gynecology > Neuro/Spine > ENT > Urology > Vascular > Thoracic > Radiology > Cosmetic. MUST be proficient in nerve blocks and spinal anesthesia.
  • Support Staff/Supervision: Medical Direction. 2 Anesthesiologist's/7-9 CRNAs ; ASC: 1 Anesthesiologist/2-3 CRNAs
  • # of OR's: 9 hospital, 3 ASC
  • Credentialing Time-Frame: 90 days
  • Certifications: BLS/ACLS/PALS; active, unrestricted TN medical license; ACGME-accredited residency/fellowship program; proof of 30+ hrs CME in the past 2 years (unless recent graduate); documented clinical competence w/proof of recent anesthesia cases (100+ in the past year)
