Job Title: Locum Tenens General Cardiologist

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist for a flexible locum tenens opportunity. This position offers a mix of clinic, procedural work, and call responsibilities in a supportive environment.
Schedule & Coverage- Flexible schedule: 1 2 weeks per month + 1 weekend
- Clinic, procedures, and call coverage
- Lab coverage: 3 days per week
- Average call volume:
- Nights: minimal (typically 0 callbacks)
- Weekends: minimal (rounding required)
- Combination of clinic and hospital
- 150-bed hospital
- Established clinic with 1 full-time physician
- Support from APPs (especially when working with interventional services)
- EMR: EPIC
- Average patients per day
- Adult patient population
- Procedures include:
- Nuclear reads
- Stress testing
- TEEs (transesophageal echocardiograms)
- Cardioversions
- Echo monitoring
- Board Certification: BC/BE in Cardiology
- Required Skills:
- Nuclear cardiology board certification
- Echocardiography board certification
- Preferred (not required):
- CT board certification / cardiac CT interpretation
- License: Pennsylvania license or IMLC accepted
- DEA: Required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year
- Expedited credentialing available
- Temporary privileges possible with a clean file
