What You ll Do
  • Provide non-invasive cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Perform and interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, cardiac nuclear imaging, stress echocardiography, and cardiac monitors
  • Manage patient evaluation and treatment planning, including stress testing and monitoring interpretation
  • Support diagnostic and treatment services including Holter/event monitors, cardioversion, and TEE (when applicable)
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure appropriate billing compliance
  • Triage and respond to patient telephone calls with clinical consultation as needed
  • Collaborate with a collegial cardiology team and other specialties to meet established standards of care
What You Need
Required
  • BE/BC Cardiologist (Non-invasive)
  • Maintain current and unrestricted licenses and certifications
  • Board certification and CME compliance (as required for privileges)
  • Clean malpractice history/background
  • Must be able to relocate or reside locally in the immediate area (per position requirement)

Preferred
  • Nuclear and Echo certification (strongly preferred)
  • Experience providing cardiology care in a clinic and hospital setting
  • Willingness to provide outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals
