Locum OB/GYN Opening Colorado Springs, CO

Coverage Need: Ongoing coverage 2 weeks per month preferred
Practice Setting: OB/GYN Clinic + Labor & Delivery Coverage
EMR: Epic (Clinic & Hospital)
Schedule:
- Clinic: 8am 5pm
- Hospital/In-House Call: 8am 8am
- Clinic coverage + day shift L&D coverage Monday Friday
- 24-hour weekday call rotation: 1:10
- Weekend call rotation: 1:10
- Weekend coverage runs Friday through Monday morning
- Candidates covering only in-house hospital coverage accepted
- Providers able to cover 1 week per month will be considered
Practice Details:
- Low Risk OB: 70%
- High Risk OB: 10%
- C-Section Rate: 30%
- Average Clinic Patients Per Day: 20
- Average Deliveries Per Week: 8
- Average OB/GYN Surgeries Per Week: 8
- Group includes 5 OB/GYNs and 2 mid-levels
- No supervision of other providers required
- Other OB/GYNs onsite during coverage
- Lab and ultrasound onsite with tech support
Required Obstetrics Procedures:
- Low risk pregnancy management
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-section decision making
- Complicated deliveries including breech and multiple births
- VBACs
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
Preferred Procedures:
- High risk pregnancy management
- OB ultrasound interpretation
- Level I and Level II OB ultrasounds
- Office/minor gynecology procedures including IUDs, colposcopy, cryosurgery, cystoscopy, and LEEP procedures
Strong support staff and collaborative OB/GYN team environmen
