Cancer types we typically see breast, bladder, brain, colorectal, kidney, lung, prostate, stomach/esophageal, lymphoma, melanoma Practice is co-located with Radiation Oncology This is a robust Cancer Center that combines a hematology-oncology practice, outpatient infusion center, and radiation oncology at the Medical Office Building portion of a brand new hospital We have an affiliation with the Duke Cancer Network for both program development and oncology research protocols. Weekly tumor board with radiology and pathology participation is well established. A Senior Director is committed to program development and oversees Cancer Committee and 5 Tumor Site Committees dedicated to quality and growth. A Tumor Registry Department with 3 certified Tumor Registrars averages 600+ cancer patients diagnosed and/or treated annually at our facility. Through our affiliation with Duke Cancer Network for both program development and oncology research as well as Alliance Clinical Trials, our research department can offer 10-12 open oncology research trials at any given time and devoted to expanding.
