Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
  • Active Maryland State License as an Occupational Therapist required to start the position
  • CPR for Healthcare Providers certification required
  • Experience fabricating, adjusting, and fitting upper extremity orthoses; caseload focused on orthopedic upper extremity/hand
  • Experience and proficiency working with computers and electronic medical records
  • Thorough knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing
  • Thorough knowledge of Workers' Compensation insurance, including unique features and requirements
