Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Connecticut Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Outpatient experience required. Must demonstrate competency with evaluation, plan of care development, goal writing, and functional treatment planning.
• Experience with documentation in electronic medical records, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry, preferred.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and students, and to participate in student education when assigned.
• Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Connecticut State Practice Act.
• Adherence to organizational safety practices including safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety.
