Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Canton, IL. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage documentation and use electronic medical record systems preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience with restorative programs and ADL training preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 08:30-16:30.
  • Work pattern: Five 8-hour shifts per week.
  • Standard meal break: 30 minutes.
