Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Description

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist position in Farmington, IL at a skilled nursing facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Illinois Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Ability to manage typical skilled nursing documentation and care planning systems preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience with mobility training, restorative programs, and ADL-focused interventions preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 08:30–16:30.
  • Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week.
  • Onsite at the Farmington skilled nursing facility. Candidate may be expected to float within the local service area if needed.

Impacting Patient Care
