Opportunity:
Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner
Job Details:
• Full-time role providing medical management for new admissions and follow-up care
• Monday-Friday schedule with daily patient volume of approximately 15-20 patients
• Limited call requirements: 1 night per week plus 1 weekend per month (phone only)
• Call duties include addressing overnight medical concerns and giving verbal orders
• Must respond to calls within 15 minutes with no onsite presence required
• Review new admission histories and order continuation or initiation of medications
• Work with intake/nursing team who manage admission logistics
• Complete all H&Ps within 24 hours of admission as part of Internal Medicine team
• Focus on behavioral health patient population in hospital setting
