Way, WA (24 miles S of Seattle, WA)
Schedule:
- Shift time: 8am - 4:45pm
- Setting: Clinic Only
- Site is flexible on which weeks locums is available
Start: ASAP (Credentialing takes 60 days minimum
Duration: 3-6 months
Facility Location: St. Francis Hospital & Franciscan Women's Health Federal Way
Duties:
- 60-70% OB to 30-40% Gyn.
- OB: Mix of high risk and low risk patients. We see diabetics, HTN, AMA, multiples up to twins (higher order goes to other facility). Large diversity with many different languages spoken by patients in our office.
- Gyn: Annuals, AUB, Birth control, surgery consults for fibroids/AUB/polyp/etc. We do circs in our office and a provider could do them if they would like!
- Ultrasound: we have a sonographer in our office. She does early OB dating scans, position checks at 35-36 weeks as well as basic Gyn (IUD position check, occasional fibroids, etc). We do read our own US on call days, locums in clinic would likely not be reading US.
Clinic Details:
- Has a procedure room for LEEPs, colposcopy.
- We do office anesthesia 1 day per month, unlikely we could get someone credentialed for that but it is offered to patients
- We do all birth control: Depo, IUDs (have Paragard and Mirena in office, can order others if desired), Nexplanon placement
Patients per day: 18-24
Required Procedures:
- Manage L+D patients, NO DOCS
- Assist CNMS/FPOBs
- GYN coverage ER
- Level 1 Nursery
- Should be comfortable at CAH
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: L+D RNs, CNMs, FPOBs, X-ray tech, MA, RN, LPN/LVN, Lab tech
All Travel Offered

ABOG - BC/BE - Required
WA license or IMLC Required
