Position Details: Key Responsibilities- Oversees patient care delivery using the nursing process and ensures coordination of care based on patient needs and staff competency
- Ensures appropriate staffing levels and collaborates on patient flow and bed management
- Serves as a leader, mentor, and role model; provides feedback, coaching, and accountability
- Promotes a positive work environment and staff engagement through shared governance and recognition
- Communicates effectively with leadership, staff, and providers; escalates issues as needed
- Supports regulatory compliance, policy adherence, and accreditation standards
- Participates in performance improvement, quality initiatives, and root cause analyses
- Addresses patient concerns and supports service recovery to improve satisfaction
Qualifications Education:- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure: Experience:- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience
Certifications:- AHA Healthcare Provider (required or within probation)
- TNCC, ACLS, and ENPC or PALS (as applicable)
Skills- Strong clinical and leadership skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving
- Ability to support staff development and ensure quality patient care
