• Shift Coverage: Flexible coverage required; preference for candidates able to cover 5-7 day stretches

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine (ER physician experience)
• Ability to provide supporting procedure logs for required interventions
• Clear professional background preferred; no malpractice history desired
• Flexibility to work across multiple hospital campuses and varied shift schedules
• Must be able to meet state licensure and credentialing requirements for Indiana locum tenens assignments

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to adult and/or pediatric patients in a busy inpatient ER setting
• Perform and document procedures including: breast cyst aspiration, central venous catheterization, endotracheal intubation (minimum 20 cases in past 24 months), lumbar puncture, anterior & posterior nasal hemostatic packing, paracentesis, suprapubic bladder aspiration, thoracentesis, and moderate procedural sedation
• Adapt to varying shift schedules and campus locations based on departmental needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, specialists, support staff) to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and procedure logs in accordance with facility and locum tenens requirements
