Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

An independent, community-based hospital in Sterling, Illinois, operating under an employed-physician model, has an opening for a Podiatry Nurse Practitioner. Our growing medical staff includes 77 physicians and 75 advanced practice providers (APPs) across 35 specialties, and we are excited to welcome a Podiatry Nurse Practitioner to our established and thriving team.

Position Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established podiatry practice with immediate patient volume. The incoming NP will have the autonomy to build and manage their own practice, while collaborating closely with an experienced team.

• Non-operative evaluation and management of foot and ankle conditions, including:
  • Fracture care
  • Ankle sprains
  • Tendonitis
  • Diabetic foot examinations
  • Wound care
  • Joint injections
  • Nail care
  • Opportunity to assist in the operating room (optional)

Team Structure

• 2 Podiatrists (DPMs)
• 1 Nurse Practitioner
• Excellent clinical support staff including RNs, LPNs, and MAs

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with podiatry experience preferred
• Passion for delivering high-quality patient-centered care
• Interest in practicing in a community-focused environment
