Four procedure slots per day, which are typically fully booked. These procedures may involve multi-site cases. On an average day, there are approximately 12 diagnostic mammograms, with about 90% proceeding to ultrasound, though volume can increase to up to 16 diagnostic mammograms per day. In addition, there are two diagnostic ultrasound-only slots per day. Hours beginning at 8:00 AM and ending at 4 PM.

typically read screening mammograms per day at Orangeburg, as well as approximately four breast MRIs per week. MRI-guided biopsies occur infrequently. We also receive one to two IOFs per week, which require either formal reinterpretation or image review.

Daily responsibilities include attending approximately four breast pathology results per day and responding to needle localization requests via email to approve cases prior to scheduling.

Additionally, we receive approximately one thoracentesis or paracentesis order every other week to perform.

Imaging and Reporting Systems

Orangeburg: Epic (EMR), Sectra (PACS), MagView (breast imaging), PowerScribe (dictation, including IOFs)
