Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• BSN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have cardiac drip experience, NIH stroke assessment experience, post cath recovery, and chest tube experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with TR bands and Fem stops preferred.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. If previously employed at the facility, one-off exceptions may be approved by St. Luke’s Health System.
Unit Details: Common diagnoses include CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, pneumothorax, and post cath lab patients; nurses will not pull sheaths. No titratable drips; commonly sees set-rate diltiazem and amiodarone. No epi or nitro on this floor. Tele techs are currently on the floor and will centralize off site in June. RNs read and interpret rhythms and document every 6 hours. Charting system is Epic. Currently uses SpaceLab monitors and is transitioning to Philips. CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow are used on the unit; RT manages them.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirements: travelers will fill in the needs. Holiday requirements: travelers will fill in the needs. No call.
Floating Requirements: First to float. Will float to like units and Med/Surg at times. May also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to like units and Med/Surg if needed. May also float to ICU if experienced.
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
