Job Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. This full-time position offers a stable, rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The PT will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to restore function and improve mobility.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury-prevention techniques.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including PTAs, physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and facility policies related to patient care and documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Doctorate (DPT) or Master's (MPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Florida PT license or eligibility for licensure.
  • CPR certification (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous clinical experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment:
  • Full-time position with consistent, predictable scheduling (40 hours per week).
  • Potential work settings include hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or home health.
