Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician in Wisconsin Rapids, WI - 13-week assignment starting June 8, 2026. Board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist opportunities in Central Wisconsin women's health and obstetrics.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 - $7,280
• Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494 (Central Wisconsin) - Wisconsin Rapids OB/GYN jobs
• Setting: OB/GYN Department (10 beds) - clinic and inpatient obstetrics & gynecology
• Patient Volume: 20-25 clinic patients and 1-6 inpatients per shift
• Start Date: June 8, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (on-site)

• MD or DO in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active state medical license (WI license preferred or ability to obtain temporary Wisconsin medical license)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (or equivalent) required
• Minimum 1 year recent OB/GYN clinical experience; locum tenens or hospital-based experience a plus
• Proficiency in low-risk pregnancy management, fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), and OB ultrasounds (Level I / screening)
• Experience with routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, cesarean section (C-section), breech, multiple births, and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Competence in office/minor gynecology procedures (IUD insertion/removal, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, cystoscopy) and surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic)

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for clinic and inpatient populations in a busy community hospital
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds and fetal heart rate monitoring; manage labor and delivery including operative vaginal deliveries
• Manage low-risk pregnancies and perform routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps); respond to and manage obstetric emergencies
• Perform C-sections and handle complicated deliveries (breech, multiple births, placental abruption) as required
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree perineal lacerations and provide postpartum care
• Conduct office and minor gynecologic procedures (IUD, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
• Perform surgical gynecology procedures-diagnostic/minor and operative/major, both open and laparoscopic
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, midwifery, anesthesia, neonatology) to ensure high-quality patient care and smooth handoffs
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
