We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you’ll use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges. Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Florida Pharmacist license required.
  • Hospital experience required.
  • Sterile compounding experience required, including IV workflow management (DoseEdge or similar) and compounding systems (e.g., Pharmacy Stars/Compounding 360).
  • Experience preparing neonatal and pediatric (Peds/NICU) IV medications required.
  • Experience with hazardous drug compounding preferred.
  • Familiarity with automated dispensing systems (Pyxis MedStation ES, Pyxis Anesthesia Station ES, BD Pyxis CII Safe) preferred.
  • Experience with Meditech or similar pharmacy documentation systems preferred.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) listed as a required certification for unit staffing model.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoseEdge IV workflow management preferred.
  • Prior work in a facility with pediatric ER, PICU, or NICU preferred.
  • Experience with PakEdge, RxMS Scanner, iMobile, or Codonics systems is desirable.


Assignment Details

  • Mixed shifts with hours covering 6:00 AM – 9:30 PM.
  • Rotating weekends (every other weekend).
  • Technicians for the unit are transitioning to a 12-hour shift model, which may affect scheduling and teamwork.
