Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Florida Occupational Therapy License required to start the position.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience or comfort working with adults aged 55 and older preferred.
  • Ability to self-schedule and manage an autonomous caseload, meeting a target of approximately 5–6 visits per day.
  • Willingness to work within a home health setting serving retirement/life-plan communities. Limited local travel within and between private communities required. No extensive driving; many visits are walkable within community campuses.
  • Open to new graduates. Clinical enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong patient rapport required.
  • Guaranteed hours typically 25–30 hours per week; full-time staffing needs include a 40-hour week for some roles.
