Pediatrics Physician Assistant

A respected healthcareorganization in Martinsburg is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioneror Physician Assistant to join its growing outpatient pediatric team. Thisopportunity is ideal for an advanced practice provider who is passionate aboutdelivering comprehensive pediatric care in a collaborative and patient-centeredenvironment.

The provider will care forpediatric patients ranging from newborns through the provider's preferred agerange while working alongside experienced physicians and healthcareprofessionals in a supportive clinical setting.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient only
• EMR: Epic
• Average patient volume: 16-18 patients per day

Call Requirements

• After-hours phone call only
• No in-person call responsibilities
• Call frequency:
  • 1-2 weekdays per month
  • Approximately 3 weekends per year

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Conduct wellness visits, preventive care, and immunizations
• Care for patients from birth through the provider's preferred age range
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active West Virginia license or ability to obtain
• DEA registration required by start date
• Pediatric experience preferred
