St. Joseph s Regional Medical Center is actively recruiting an experienced Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant to join our established Radiation Oncology, Cancer Center & Blood Institute team. This role offers complex, rewarding Hem/Onc care within a provider-friendly practice model that supports both professional fulfillment and work/life balance.

About the position:

  • Care Model: Dedicated RN support for each provider (all clinical staff are RNs; no MAs); physician and PA follow the same patient panel together
  • Team: 2 Hem/Onc Physicians and 2 NPs; 3rd physician expected June 2026 with long-term locums support in the interim
  • PA visit rotation: generally 2 3 follow-up visits per patient sequence, then seen by physician
  • Schedule: 36 patient care hours, 4 hours admin (flexible)
  • Clinic Hours: 8a 4:30p M F
  • Expected mature patient volume: 15+ patients/day; follow-up visits only; 30m appointments
  • EMR: Mosaiq

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
  • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of ID and DEA with full prescriptive authority
  • Experience strongly preferred
