Job Description:
Henry Ford Rochester Hospital is seeking a qualified CRNA to join their hospital-based anesthesia team. This role involves providing anesthesia services in a 180-bed facility with 11 operating rooms, covering specialties such as Cardiovascular, Vascular, Neuro, General, ENT (limited peds), Urology, Orthopedics, Robotic surgery, Colo-Rectal, Podiatry, and Plastic surgery. The CRNA will also cover out-of-department services including Non-invasive cardiology, Obstetrics, Endoscopy, and Radiology (CT & MRI).
Responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthesia assessments, developing care plans, administering general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care, monitoring patients during procedures, managing anesthesia complications, providing post-anesthesia care and pain management, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license and NBCRNA certification required
- Masters or Doctorate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Board certification (AANA) required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS; PALS desired
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, teamwork skills
- Ability to handle general adult surgical cases, obstetrical, neurosurgical cases, and procedures like arterial line insertion, IV insertions, and floor intubations
- Accepting new graduates
- Schedule: 8- or 10-hour day shifts
- Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
- Supervision: 1 MDA to 4 CRNAs
