Hourly Rate: $44.00 – $52.00 per hour

Position Summary
A metro Chicago hospital is seeking a full-time Pediatric Outpatient Occupational Therapist to provide diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services for pediatric outpatient clients. This role supports children in an outpatient pediatric setting located near the Medical District at Harrison Square. Candidates with inpatient pediatrics and NICU experience are strongly preferred. Responsibilities

• Schedule / Shift

  • Shift details: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM with paid 30-minute lunch
  • Hours per week: 32–40 hours
  • Contract length: Immediate start through August 2026

• Key Duties:

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and interventions for pediatric outpatient clients
  • Deliver diagnostic, consultative, and therapeutic services in accordance with clinical standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within the outpatient pediatric setting

Requirements

• Education

  • Required: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Licenses & Certifications

  • Required: Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
  • Preferred: Experience in inpatient pediatrics and/or NICU settings

Skills:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an outpatient pediatric healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of pediatric therapy practices, treatment planning, and patient care standards
