The Registered Nurse Clinic Coordinator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team as an advocate and guide for patients from point of entry, through diagnostic studies, diagnosis, treatment plan, and outpatient care.
The Registered Nurse Clinic Coordinator's primary function is to build a relationship with patients and physicians, to coordinate a plan of care including appointments within the multidisciplinary care environment.
The Registered Nurse Clinic Coordinator also assumes responsibility and accountability for the management of resources to achieve efficient, high-quality outcomes for each patient across the continuum of care. This includes support for interdisciplinary and collaboration with affiliated organizations.
The Registered Nurse Clinic Coordinator will track performance of the program in line with HCA, division and facility goals (growth, quality, practice guidelines, etc.).
The Registered Nurse Clinic Coordinator will serve as a liaison between the patient and family, primary care physician, internal and external care providers, specialists, support network members e.g. social workers, and the wider healthcare community. Coordinator will work with referring practices to build collaborative relationships, streamline access to RMC and grow pediatric referrals. The Registered Nurse Clinic Coordinator will also be the main point of contact for the multidisciplinary clinics and aid in the development, execution, and marketing of the programs (both new and established).

Ability to seek regular input from team members and other stakeholders on strengths and areas for development within the program.
Involves general guidance and direction by the Pediatric Multispecialty Manager. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
