Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Pay Rate: $28.66–32.88/hr
Employment Type: Contingent
Schedule: 6am-2:30pm, 5 days/week with rotational weekends

This role directly supports patient diagnosis and care through accurate, timely, and compliant laboratory testing. You’ll contribute to high‑complexity testing while upholding strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards in a clinical lab environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, testing, reporting, and record maintenance
  • Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures, including high‑complexity testing
  • Review, validate, and release test results
  • Ensure proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens
  • Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety guidelines
  • Follow established policies and procedures when test systems fall outside acceptable performance levels
  • Identify testing or performance issues and correct them or escalate to senior technologists or supervisors as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • A current, up‑to‑date resume
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Chemistry or Biochemistry strongly preferred
  • Official transcripts required and reviewed during the consideration process
  • 1 year of clinical laboratory experience with high‑complexity testing preferred
  • Experience with LC‑MS or ICP‑MS strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to stand and work at a lab bench for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally, with assistance required for heavier items
  • Manual dexterity to use pipettes and automated laboratory instrumentation
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
