Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA or equivalent accrediting body.
• Current, active, and unencumbered Maryland physical therapy license required prior to start.
• CPR/BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience providing home health physical therapy or equivalent outpatient/home-based experience preferred.
• 2-3 years of physical therapy experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance for home visits.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation, email, and basic computer navigation required.

• Clinical responsibilities: Perform patient evaluations, provide therapeutic services per physician orders, develop and update plans of care, document patient condition, instruct family and agency personnel, evaluate home environment, participate in in-service education.
• Supervisory duties: May directly supervise and evaluate PT Assistants and Home Health Aides as assigned.
