Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Florida PT license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Recent experience in an inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) or hospital setting is required.
  • Experience with WellSky EMR is required.
  • Ability to manage roughly 7 patients per day.
  • Must have at least one year of clinical experience. No new graduates.
  • Resume is acceptable for initial submission to subcontract.
  • Preferred: experience with short-term acute care or IPR caseloads. Preferred: prior travel assignment experience.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Caseload: approximately 7 patients per day.
  • Patient Population: Inpatient rehabilitation (IPR).
  • Schedule preference: Saturday–Wednesday preferred. Client may also consider Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday. Assignment cannot accommodate Monday–Friday.
  • EMR: WellSky.
  • Start window: mid-May to mid-July assignment period.
