Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Hawaii Health Systems Corp - East Region.

Preferred Credentials: Procedural Sedation

Unit / Facility Details: Please do research prior to submitting. Housing and Airfare will fluctuate depending on season

Patient Ratio: Medical 1/6 for days and eves, 1/8 for nights, Laulima 1/6, Cardiovascular 1/4. Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves

Special Requests: References must be from the 2 most recent places of employment.

Must arrive the Thursday before start in order to go to employee health appointment on Friday

Shift & Scheduling: 1845 to 0715

Floating Requirement: Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units

Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
