Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA.
  • Active Maine Physical Therapy license or compact/PT license recognized for ME is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience in acute care hospital settings is required due to the role being an acute Physical Therapist.
  • Ability to work 8-hour day shifts and maintain 40 hours per week as indicated by the client.
  • Float required: No.
  • Charge responsibilities: No.
  • Preferred: prior experience working in rural hospital settings or with post-operative and medically complex patients.
