Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Maryland Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred. This is a preferred requirement, not mandatory.
  • Travel team option in-clinic or at a neighboring clinic available; candidate must be willing to participate if assigned.
  • Must be able to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week with an expectation to see 12–14 patients per day; double-booking of follow-up visits is expected.
  • Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week; 36 hours guaranteed. Any overtime must be approved by the clinic director before being worked.
  • PT only. PTA candidates are not accepted.
  • First-time travelers are acceptable. New graduates are not accepted.

  • Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours.
  • Patient population: Outpatient orthopedics.
  • Productivity expectation: 60 visits per week; see 12–14 patients per day; double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
  • Overtime must be approved by the director prior to working OT.
  • Travel team option available within this clinic or at a neighboring clinic.
  • Floating to other clinics: No.
