Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Maine Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Candidates should have experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting care in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards.
  • Experience with functional treatment programs and safe patient handling techniques preferred.
  • Ability to provide supervision and direction for discipline-specific therapy services and to participate in student clinical education when assigned (preferred).
  • Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Maine Practice Act.

  • Facility Type: Outpatient.
  • Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
  • Assignment Duration: 13 Week assignment.
  • Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
