Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Maine PT license required to start the assignment. Candidate must maintain licensure in good standing during the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred. Candidates with experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal and post-operative patients are preferred.
  • Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, writing measurable goals, and developing functional treatment plans required.
  • Proficiency with clinical documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in accordance with payer and clinic guidelines preferred.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy aides, assistants, and students as required by clinic workflow.
  • Adherence to state practice act, professional code of conduct, and participation in performance improvement activities required.

  • Duration: 13 week assignment.
