Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to verbally and physically demonstrate skills in a simulation lab using equipment; work independently; perform work at a desk for potentially extended periods of time; provide technical support for simulation operations; and maintain equipment in a simulation lab including cleaning, troubleshooting issues, and making minor repairs.
Shift
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm; may require some flexibility to meet work demands outside normal business hours and occasional weekends.
Job Summary
The Simulation Operations Specialist will be responsible for implementing simulations activities, which includes: task training and high fidelity patient simulator programs, writes/programs simulated clinical scenarios, sets up and breaks down clinical simulation event equipment and supplies, maintains supply and equipment and learning resources inventory and maintenance contracts; works with clinical program directors and faculty to advance learning goals and learner skills through simulation.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will possess experience with technical equipment/software and oral and written professional communication skills and strong knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Word.
