Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Indiana PT license required prior to start of assignment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, with outpatient experience required.
• Demonstrated experience in outpatient orthopedics required.
• Experience with ultrasound, electrical stimulation (E-stim), and LiteGait or comparable mobility-assist equipment preferred.
• Experience using Epic or similar electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Ability and willingness to float between outpatient locations as needed to meet patient demand.
• Team-oriented and flexible professional demeanor required.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital outpatient therapy clinic.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 07:45–16:15, Monday–Friday.
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40.
• Patient Population: Orthopedics, neurological cases, general debility; 1:1 treatment sessions.
• Required Onboarding: Completion of CBTs and EMR training upon arrival.
• Reporting Location: Outpatient MOB building front entrance at the outpatient therapy clinic address in Rensselaer, IN.
• Dress Code: Charcoal gray scrubs preferred; closed-toe, clean, wipeable shoes required; visible tattoos must be respectful or covered; no denim.

The city is about 30 minutes from Lafayette and roughly 1 hour 15 minutes from downtown South Bend. The area is within driving distance of Indiana Dunes National Park on Lake Michigan (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes), and offers nearby outdoor recreation such as canoeing and fishing on the Iroquois River and local county parks within a 15–30 minute drive. Rensselaer features a quiet, suburban feel with local festivals, historic districts, and small restaurants within a short commute from the hospital campus. Public transit options are limited; most clinicians commute by car, with convenient on-site parking available at the outpatient building.
