Pharmacist - Travel Job

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Florida required.
• Experience working as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems required.
• Demonstrated experience with medication reconciliation and discharge medication counseling.
• Experience with sterile product preparation and parenteral medication labeling and competency assessments.
• Knowledge and experience in antimicrobial stewardship, including interpretation of culture results and making antimicrobial recommendations, preferred.
• Experience with pharmacokinetic dosing management and anticoagulation dosing management preferred.
• Familiarity with controlled substance handling, inventory processes, and regulatory compliance required.
• Strong communication skills for gathering home medication lists and providing discharge counseling.
• Ability to participate in pharmacy quality assurance, P&T committee activities, and staff training.

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Details: Day (5x8).
• Duration: 13 Week assignment.
• Facility requires adherence to facility standards for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
• May be required to support medication distribution, emergency drug stocking, and inspections across hospital units.
