Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide treatment for adults with complex medical and rehabilitative needs, including experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and cognitive/perceptual interventions.
  • Proficiency with documentation systems and ability to meet productivity and documentation standards common to SNFs.
  • Preferred: Experience with restorative nursing programs and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in long-term care.
  • Client-specific requirement: must be comfortable working in an environment where 88% of patient care tasks are supported by PCTs and delegating and supervising PCTs is expected.
