Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Georgia Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • Minimum of 15-18 months of recent experience in acute care occupational therapy required. Experience should include care for ICU patients, stroke/neurological cases, orthopedics, and general medical-surgical debility.
  • Current AHA BLS certification required.
  • Experience with One Chart / Cerner or similar electronic medical record preferred.
  • Ability to follow physician orders and provide evaluations, interventions, and documentation for acute care patients across the hospital.

Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., varied schedule with 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period and holiday coverage requirement.
  • Primary rate type: 8-hour day shift.
  • Floating: May be required to support patients across units within the hospital.
  • Unit: Acute Care Occupational Therapy supporting hospital-wide patient population including ICU and specialty populations.
