Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Arizona Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy required. Clinical experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal/ortho patients preferred.
• Proficiency with outpatient documentation including evaluation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry per payer guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and functional programs focused on return to community activities.
• Ability to supervise or mentor students and coordinate discipline-specific therapy services.
• Maintain professional licensure and comply with state practice act and continuing education requirements.
• Experience with safe patient handling practices and infection control procedures preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Patient Population: Orthopaedic outpatient caseload.
• Responsibilities: Complete evaluations, develop and document treatment plans and goals, perform charge entry and letters of medical necessity, participate in student supervision as assigned.
