Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
  • Active Arizona Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred, including evaluation, plan-of-care development, and progress toward discharge goals.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record documentation including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate therapy-specific tasks and to participate in student clinical education as needed preferred.
  • Adherence to state practice act, professional codes of conduct, and completion of required continuing education.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
  • Discipline: Physical Therapist, primary orthopedics focus.
  • Duration: 13 week assignment.
  • Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment planning, documentation, patient and family education, and promoting patient and employee safety.
